The evergreen tea tree is native to Australia. The oil, distilled from the leaves and twigs, has made a name for itself in recent years, particularly as an ingredient in cosmetics. It is well suited as an ingredient in homemade care products for stressed skin. For insect bites, it can be mixed with jojoba oil, for example, and dripped onto the sting.
