Chai, two, one, mmmh!

Aromatic enjoyment for every occasion

What we commonly call Chai is masala chai in its home region of India. Chai means tea, and masala means mixture. This explains the most important thing: Chai is a finely balanced mixture of tea and various spices, such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and ginger.

Chai is drunk throughout the day in South Asia, and there is no standard recipe for it. Every family has its own mixture, and the exact composition is often kept secret for generations.

We have three exciting chai varieties for you. Our chais taste best with (plant-based) milk and a little honey. Of course, you can also enjoy them neat or go wild in the kitchen and give your dessert a spicy twist with Chai. Try our recipe ideas below!

spiced chai

Spices are the focus here! This creation is based on ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, and clove, immediately transporting you to the subcontinent. Sweet and chocolatey notes of rooibos and cocoa shells round off spice chai.

Black Tea Chai

Black tea chai is the Indian national drink you can buy from chai wallahs on every street corner. In this blend, we have combined strong Assam black tea with the fine flavours of cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, and star anise. Stimulating, spicy, and sweet, it is perfect as a digestif or with cake in the afternoon!

rooibos chai

This delicately spiced chai variety shimmers fiery red in the cup. In addition to the classic spices, naturally caffeine-free Rooibos Chai contains orange peel, which gives it a particularly seductive scent.
